Robert Abell, ND LAc

Robert Abell ND, LAc received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1985.

He received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in 1993 and his Masters in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 1994. Dr. Abell currently lectures on various topics throughout North America and for Seroyal focusing on Biotherapeutic Drainage™. Dr. Abell currently resides in Hawaii with his wife Lisa and their daughter Elise and is currently working on a new project that will permit health care practitioners access to treating with natural medicine according to the practice.

Mikhael Adams, BSc ND

Mikhael Adams BSc, ND, received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1981.

He practiced for 10 years in Seattle, and is now in private practice in Milton, Ontario. Dr. Adams uses drainage, nutrition, homeopathy, acupuncture and auricular medicine as his primary therapeutic tools. He has studied homeopathy since 1977 with such renowned Doctors as Robin Murphy, George Vithoulkas, Bill Gray, Francisco Eizayga and Michel Bouko-Levy. Dr. Adams is the president of the International Association of Auricular and Bioenergetic Medicine, past president of the North American Association of Auricular Medicine, and has studied extensively with Dr. Paul Nogier in France. He taught Clinical Pathology at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from 1987 to 1993 and has been giving workshops internationally on auricular medicine since 1984. Dr. Adams has been lecturing in North America on homeopathy and drainage since 1988, and has been lecturing for Seroyal since 1991.

Amy Bader ND is a doctor, teacher, speaker, writer and entrepreneur. She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the National University of Natural Medicine,

where she is now an adjunct clinical faculty member. Dr. Bader has private practices in both northern California and Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her beautiful daughter. Liz Lipski, PhD CCN CNS CHN CFM LDN

Dr. Liz Lipski PhD, CCN, CNS, CHN, CFM, LDN holds a doctorate in clinical nutrition and has three board certifications in clinical nutrition, as well as one in functional medicine.

She is currently the director of academic development at Maryland University of Integrative Health as well as a professor, teaching in the MS and doctoral programs in Nutrition & Integrative Health. She is a faculty member at the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Autism Research Institute, and sits on the editorial board of the journal Brain and Gut, published in peer-reviewed journals. She also serves on the advisory boards of the Autism Hope Alliance and the Ceres Community Project, as well as the Scientific Advisory Board of the Neurological Health Foundation. In addition, she serves a special advisor to the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. Dr. Lipski is the author of several popular press books: “Digestive Wellness,” “The Digestion Connection,” “Digestive Wellness for Children,” and “Leaky Gut Syndrome.” She has been working in the field of integrative and functional medicine for over 30 years. Mona Morstein ND, DHANP

Mona Morstein ND, DHANP has a BS in Foods and Nutrition, received her ND and completed her Family Residency at National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

Following graduation, Dr. Morstein established a successful private practice in Great Falls, Montana, that she operated for 13 years. Dr. Morstein then moved to Arizona and was chair of nutrition, a professor of gastroenterology and supervising physician of students in the outpatient medical clinic at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona for 11 years. Now fully back in private practice in Tempe, Dr. Morstein addresses acute and chronic diseases for patients of all ages. A recognized expert on pre-diabetes and diabetes, she also specializes in gastroenterology and hormonal disorders, and created the well-received conferences “Insulin Intensive Seminar” and “Comprehensive Care of Diabetics.” Dr. Morstein is the founder and executive director of the 501©3 non-profit Low Carb Diabetes Association. She is also on the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of American’s Medical Advisory Board in Phoenix. Dr. Morstein conducted two five-week webinars on Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth and Comprehensive Care of Multiple Gastrointestinal Conditions for Medicine Talk Pro. In 2012, Dr. Morstein received the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians President’s Award for her comprehensive work in the naturopathic profession. Dickson Thom DDS, ND is one of the founders and medical directors of the American Center for Biological Medicine and the American Center for Alternative Medicine in Scottsdale, AZ.

He is a graduate of the University of Toronto (dentistry) in 1974, the Ontario College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto (ND) in 1986, and the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland (ND) in 1989. Dr. Thom brings over 40 years of extensive life experience and credentials to his patients. As a former professor and past dean at NCNM, he has vast teaching experience in a wide variety of subjects. Dragana Skokovic-Sunjic RPh, BScPhm, NCMP

Dragana Skokovic-Sunjic RPh, BScPhm, NCMP is a clinical pharmacist with the Hamilton Family Health Team and a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sunjic is a teaching associate with Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, and a resource speaker for the Continuing Health Science Education program at McMaster University in Hamilton. Dragana’s areas of expertise are NHPs and Women’s Health, with a special interest in probiotics. She is a leader in knowledge mobilization in the field of probiotics in Canada. Translating scientific research in this field, Dr. Sunjic authored “A Clinical Guide to Probiotic Supplements Available in Canada,” a resource tool that has been recognized internationally, receiving a Scientific Frontiers Awards at Probiota 2015 Conference in Amsterdam and at the 2015 Probiota Americas conference in San Diego.

Miriam Zacharias is on a mission to help holistic health entrepreneurs build wildly successful and joy-filled practices.

She is the author of the highly-acclaimed marketing book, The PEACE Process, and teaches marketing, leadership, and other practice management topics at health industry conferences and in schools throughout the US. Miriam also consults with wellness industry leaders on strategic planning to achieve new levels of growth and impact in their markets. Following two decades as a sales and marketing executive in the high-tech industry, Miriam pursued studies in holistic nutrition, sports nutrition and executive coaching and ran a thriving nutrition practice in southern California. She holds an MS in Human Ecology from the Ohio State University, is a certified Nutritional Therapy Consultant and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition.
