In this evening intensive Dr. Plummer will provide a brief exploration of the characteristics, structure, role, and diversity of the human microbiome and how it becomes a key driver in our health status.

The microbiome is a unique part of our physiology that can be manipulated and potentially optimised by use of probiotics and prebiotics. Clinical evidence of the effects of these nutritional factors on health will be discussed, including published research by Dr. Plummer and his research team indicating benefits to immune function.
